Cosimo Keita studied at the Luigi Cherubiniâ€™s Music Conservatory in his hometown Florence, Italy. He consequently continued to study in New York, at the Los Angeles Musician Institute and at the Goldsmithâ€™s College in London. He has worked with the likes of Shakira, Lionel Richie, Ricky Martin, Mariah Carey, Eddy Grant, London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Celloman, Dee C Lee, Antonio Forcione, UNICEF, SGI, Nelly Furtado, Urban Soul Orchestra, Rambert Dance Company, Elastic Theatre, Hawa Power, Maurizio Minardi and the Michael Clark Dance Company. He has been active in the live/recording scene, playing jazz, blues, world music and Latin in big and small combos. Cosimoâ€™s teaching experience includes work for: Colebrook Day Centre, Metropolitan Black Police Association, Brent Music Service, Halley School Highgate Wood Secondary School, Thurrock Youth Centre, New London Orchestra, The Bridge Youth Club, The Mount Primary School. London Philharmonic Orchestra and many more.. Cosimo is currently involved in a variety of music projects and performing at International Arts Festivals.
