Eddie Henderson last appeared at the Bonington a decade ago with Arnie Somogyi’s Ambulance. He received his first major musical exposure as a member of Herbie Hancock’s trailblazing Mwandishi sextet, in the 1970s, and has also performed with such notables as Dexter Gordon, Jackie McLean, Joe Henderson, Elvin Jones, Benny Golson, Max Roach and McCoy Tyner. He is currently a member of the all-star septet The Cookers. Bruce Barth is a key figure on the New York jazz scene. He has worked with Tony Bennett, James Moody, Phil Woods, Freddie Hubbard, Branford Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, and The Mingus Big Band. The band is completed by Arnie Somogyi and Stephen Keogh, who need no introduction to Bonington audiences. Eddie Henderson (trumpet), Bruce Barth (piano), Arnie Somogyi (bass), Stephen Keogh (drums)
