Matt Chandler first came to the attention of the Bonington audience when his organ trio were joined by Tony Kofi for a gig in April 2009. Matt's jazz credentials are impressive - in addition to the success of his first CD 'After Midnight', he played Manchester and Newark Jazz Festivals in 2010. He is popular with jazz guitarists because of his muscular style and technique and with audiences because of the accessibility, variety and intricacy of his compositions.
Matt's second CD, 'It Goes Like This' was released in July 2011. This is what the press had to say about his debut album 'After Midnight' -
