Guitarist Nicolas Meier is a popular visitor to the Bonington, usually appearing with his quartet. This time, however, he brings a trio as featured on his latest CD Breeze. Meier's style incorporates the modern idioms of John McLaughlin and Pat Metheny and mixes them with Middle Eastern and Flamenco influences.
