Italian saxophonist Renato D'Aiello studied in New York and has worked with Art Farmer, Steve Grossman, and Kirk Lightsey, and performs with regular bands in different parts of the world. He has a highly dramatic manner of playing and a willingness to take risks while demonstrating an infallible control over the instrument and a true feeling for the melody itself. Christian Brewer's lyrical alto adds another voice to this excellent quintet.
