Last seen at the Bonington in 2008 with that raw cutting edge style straight out of Coltrane, he wowed the audience with his complete mastery of the tenor sax. High intensity passages were still lyrical and thoughtful, and always gave space and time for the group to show their individuality and musicality. The band features New Yorker Cecilia Coleman. We look forward to their return.
