Trevor Warren - Disassembler
Trevor Warren (guitar) Mark Lockheart (tenor/soprano/bass clarinet) Dave Priseman (trumpet) Annie Whitehead (trombone) Dudley Phillips (bass) Winston Clifford (drums)
The lyrical compostions of Trevor Warren are influenced by music from India, the Middle East, Africa, as well free improv, groove and rock, avoiding the staple forms and routines of a mainstream jazz approach. Disassembler's music is not, as the name implies, a full on assault like Acoustic Ladyland or Led Bib, but whispers along, creating textures of weaving melodic interaction more akin to Polar Bear.
