The TransAtlantic Collective was formed in 2005 by London based Janisch and New Yorker Cornelius in order to bring together the many emerging artists of their generation from the US, UK and Europe. Doncaster born John Escreet has made a big name for himself since moving to New York having studied with Kenny Barron and Jason Moran, and currently works with David Binney, who also describes Luxembourg's Paul Wiltgen as, "One of the best young drummers in NYC right now!" Two continents collide in an evening of high energy jazz.
