Another brilliant double bill, and what a delight to feature the legendary Mike Gibbs, here conducting the brightest young talent to emerge from Birmingham Conservatoire's celebrated jazz degree course. They will be performing music from Gibbs' critically acclaimed 2007 70th birthday tour. Hot on their heels for bright young talent are the East Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Jon Eno.
